Theresa & Nate are Married!

Rackham Auditorium Wedding Ceremony

TwoFoot Creative has been helping Theresa and Nate with their wedding planning for about 8 months now - but we have known them for quite a number of years! They met through the University of Michigan Track and Cross Country programs. On April 3rd of this year, they officially tied the Knot!

Gandy Dancer wedding

The wedding took place at Rackham Auditorium on the University of Michigan campus. It went off perfectly, and Mary from Life Cycles did a wonderful job officiating. Their photographers were Dionne and Joe from The Shooting Gallery, one of my very favorites to work with! I can’t wait to see the pictures they took!

Guest mat and favor table

The reception site they chose is also a favorite of mine, the Gandy Dancer Restaurant. Kristina is the banquet manager there (among many other roles) and does an amazing job - I always love working with her! Due to the unexpected winds on Saturday, they went out and bought a door for the new awning (which is now a much improved black) and helped with some of the decor that needed extra reinforcement! The cake was brought in by Jefferson Market and Cakery in Ann Arbor, and it went quick!

Gandy Dancer reception setup

Theresa and Nate did all of the decor themselves, which TwoFoot Creative made sure was set exactly how they wanted it prior to guests’ arrival. The evening was set up with food stations, a mix of high and low tables, and lots of space for guests to dance and mingle - and it was a great party! Marc from In Play Productions DJ’ed and kept the dance floor packed until midnight.

Congratulations Theresa and Nate!

  1. OH… So that who put those lanterns there :)I think I was there the next day and saw those still hanging. How do you like the new awning?

  2. Hi Erika! I love the new awning, so much better in black than in burgundy! It keeps the wind out MUCH better too, which really helps with keeping candles lit and decor in place!
