Anna & Chris were married on May 14th at the First Congregational Church in Ann Arbor. Rev. Robert Livingston did a beautiful job with the ceremony! Betty is the church coordinator; one of my very favorites to work with!

The bridal party arrived at the church in a trolley from Golden International, and had some time to touch up hair and makeup and relax a bit before the ceremony. Their photographer, Wendy Martin, started with them earlier in the day and had already gotten some amazing shots (I will share later) as did their videographer Lee Thomas.

While I was at the church making sure everything was set and ready to go, two of my assistants were at Polo Fields folding napkins, inserting menus, placing donation cards and kisses, setting up escort cards, pictures and the guest book, and making sure everyone was arriving and setting up as scheduled!

Guests began to arrive right on schedule at 6pm, and were greeted with passed appetizers and drinks at the bar. Their band, The Sun Messengers, started with a recorded set during cocktails and dinner before starting their first set at 8:30.

When the bridal party arrived, we got their bags from them, lined them up for the grand entrance and took drink orders for the head table before handing the announcements off to the band. From there, everything went according to schedule - dinner, dances, tosses and opening up the dance floor which stayed packed all night!

Their cake came from Mary at Jefferson Market and Cakery in Ann Arbor. It was served as dessert, either lemon with raspberry filling or chocolate.

Congratulations Anna & Chris - it was a beautiful day!
