Jessica and I ran together at Michigan, so needless to say I was ecstatic to help her out with her wedding! The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s in Ann Arbor, and my intern Johanna got to do her first ceremony on her own since I had a previous engagement. She did a wonderful job!

We started setup that day at noon, after getting everything up to the ballroom of the Michigan Union. Jessica had ordered 12,000 rose petals that were added to the centerpieces that she bought and we set up! It looked gorgeous, and was even more so later on at night when the uplighting from MPE Events was visible (they also provided linens). The orchids for the centerpieces were provided by Tom Thompson, as were their personal flowers.

The DJ was Kurt Cologne from Mike Staff, one of my personal favorites! He kept the dance floor absolutely packed all night, and got several rounds of applause at the end of the night for a job well done. The cake was done by Cakes by Stephanie; it tasted amazing! Jessica is having some of her flowers turned into a painting by CurlyArt as well.
