Susana & Josh are Married!

Susana and Josh live in Washington DC, so I had only met Susana once before the week of her wedding! She looked absolutely stunning in her dress, which was perfect for her. Amber Hunt, her photographer, was great to work with for the first time! She caught some wonderful pictures full of emotion, and I am very excited to see the rest!

The ceremony and reception both took place at the Ann Arbor City Club (formerly the Women’s Club). It was a gorgeous day! The officiant was Rev. Christine Drewry, and music for both the ceremony and reception was provided by Platinum Mix Productions.
The ceremony started on time, and immediately following guests were served appetizers and drinks of their choice on the outdoor patio area of the Club while formal pictures were taken. A mariachi band performed during cocktail hour and dinner, which added a lor of personality to the event - they were very fun!
I just loved their color scheme - turquoise and orange! It was so fresh and fun; it added a lot of warmth to the room. Susana and Josh made their table “numbers”, which were all the national parks they have been to! Avid hikers, there was also a pair of them in gold as their cake topper!
Instead of a traditional guest book, they used this amazing vintage poster and mat for guests to sign! It was set on the place card table (since it is hard to sign a mat that is displayed on an easel), and it was packed with notes by the end of the night!
Susana made the bouquets and bouts with origami! They were absolutely fabulous, and she is having Curly Art paint her bouquet (since it would be hard to press the paper flowers without them just looking like paper)!
Congratulations Susana and Josh, it was a beautiful wedding!
