Nesha and Levar were married on Saturday at Old Solid Rock MBC in Highland Park, with a reception following at Burton Manor in Livonia. I have been working with Nesha for almost a year now, trying to create exactly the look she wanted for her reception and make sure everyone had a great time - mission accomplished!

Nesha wanted to do a signing mat instead of a traditional guest book, and it was packed with well wishes by the end of the night! Instead of place cards, she had two hostesses seated outside the reception, checking off names and directing them to their seats.

The evening ran perfectly on time, with room to spare for a surpise performance by a Michael Jackson imitator, compliments of the mother of the bride.

The cake was created by Buttercream Bake Shop. All linens were provided by Maya from Sposa Seating, and they looked absolutely stunning in that room! Centerpieces were provided by Nesha, assembled by myself prior to the reception starting. One of her friends made the card box as a gift.

The photographer for the evening was Jen from Amanda Williams - as usual I cannot wait to see her photos! Phil Tha Mixx provided DJ services, and kept the dance floor packed until the end of the night, which is always a good sign! After watching everyone dance, I now want to learn how to ballroom hustle…

Nesha’s bouquet was created by Flowers by Heidi, and she is having it preserved as a painting by Curly Art, so that is something to watch out for photos of later!
