Sarah and Eric were married on October 3rd, 2009 at St. Raphael Church in Garden City, MI. Their reception followed at Lovett Hall at the Henry Ford Museum. Sarah had her flowers done by Wedding Flowers by Heidi, and then preserved on canvas by CurlyArt - here are the results! She even incorporated some of the pearls from her bouquet into the painting.

Sarah’s flowers included pink and white roses as well as stephanotis. This painting was done on a 16×20 inch canvas.

Beth & Andy were married on September 6th, 2009 at the Dearborn Inn. Beth had me send her bouquet in to CurlyArt after the wedding, and it was transformed into the gorgeous painting you see above!
I love how elegant and romantic the painting feels - much like how the final decor for the wedding day itself ended up. It truly reflects her personality!

Some detailed shots of the design work that goes into the paintings. Flowers used here include stephanotis, roses, and lisianthus.

Amy & Ryan were married at the Rattlesnake Club back on September 19th, 2009. Amy had some of the most unique flowers in her bouquet and incorporated into the wedding - including celosia, ginger and spider mums. It was so much fun to plan everything around her vibrant pink, green and black color scheme!

The above painting was done with the ginger from Amy’s bouquet. CurlyArt did a wonderful job with these paintings, which will hang in Finley’s room - Amy & Ryan’s beautiful new baby!

Many brides wonder what to get their parents to thank them for all their help leading up their wedding day. Choices for parent gifts are often wedding albums (photographers can make a smaller version of your album), engraved frames, a weekend trip away…

Erinn’s mom Helene wanted something to remember her daughter’s wedding flowers by - and chose to have a painting from CurlyArt done for herself (above) as well as for Erinn (top). Included in the paintings is lace from Helene’s wedding dress - a wonderful touch to personalize the painting just a bit more!
Flowers used in the paintings include delphinium, roses, hydrangea, lilies, gerbera daisies and lisianthus.

I am absolutely in love with Susana’s painting from CurlyArt! As you might be able to guess from the above picture, her bouquet did not actually consist of flowers. However, she wanted something for her parents to remember the wedding by, and asked Betty from CurlyArt if she would be willing to paint her bouquet as a way to preserve it as a gift for them! The detail at the bottom of the painting was taken from a photo of Susanna’s veil.

Lindsay and David were married on August 29th, 2009 at Ingall’s Mall at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Their strolling reception followed at the Michigan Union Pendleton room with a gorgeous green and gray color scheme. Lindsay’s bouquet was sent to CurlyArt after the wedding to be pressed and transformed into the gorgeous painting you see here!

The painting was done on an 11×14 inch canvas, using fuji mums, lisianthus, kale, and other greenery. To see more from Lindsay and David’s wedding, here you go!

Jessica married Chris on August 21st, 2009 at St. Mary’s in Ann Arbor with a reception following at the Michigan Union ballroom. Jessica did not want to part with her bouquet quite yet after the wedding day, so she had a bridesmaid bouquet and some of her centerpiece flowers pressed and turned into a CurlyArt painting!

Her painting was done on a 12×12 inch canvas, with black and white as the background “colors” and predominantly yellow roses and orchids. More of Jessica and Chris’ photos can be seen here, and the initial blog post from their wedding is can be read here.
Congratulations Jess!

Lindsay was married on August 22nd, and contacted CurlyArt to turn her gorgeous wedding bouquet into the above work of art. The painting was done on a 12×16 inch canvas, and includes roses, lisianthus and stock. A photo of the couple is pictured below - so you can see the bouquet before and after! Their photographer was Artisan Events out of Chicago.

Celia and Bobby were married on August 29th of this year. Celia chose to do a painting with her bouquet from CurlyArt for their home as well as one for her mother as a gift! I think they make phenomenal parent gifts at just $100 each with another order, it is just so much more unique than an engraved picture frame…

Celia’s painting (above) is 12×12 inches, while her mom’s painting (pictured first) is an 8×8. The flowers used include both Celia’s bouquet as well as one of her bridesmaids’, bringing in lilies, roses, stephanotis, orchids, and berry leaves to the mix.

Danielle and Bobby were married on August 22nd of this year, and Danielle’s gorgeous calla lilies, black magic roses and hydrangea were preserved and turned into the above painting by CurlyArt. You can see some of their professional shots here, and the slideshow here from Ray Anthony Photography.

Pictured above are three of the four sides of the painting, which was done on an 11×14 inch canvas. Congratulations Bobby and Danielle!
