Song & Nenad were married on Saturday at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Metro Detroit. It was an interesting wedding for me to coordinate – as the groom’s side is Serbian and the bride’s Korean, several of whom did not speak English. It all worked out beautifully though, the entire day went off without a hitch!
After the ceremony, we brought the flowers to St. John’s in Plymouth to re-purpose them into the rest of the decor. My team had arrived there separately earlier in the day to install chair covers, hang glass votive holders from the gazebo, and set up all the other items for the cocktail hour and reception.
Song & Nenad arrived for pictures, and got to see the Atrium set up before the guests walked in. The flowers were done by Pot & Box, and they looked spectacular! Nenad produced all the paper products (with Song’s help!) and Wedding Cake Art & Design Center created the cake.
Throughout the night we helped make sure everything went according to schedule, which it really did. They entered the room and went straight into a slideshow. The screen was removed during cake cutting to reveal the sweetheart table up on risers, and then toasts began.
We worked with Snapfuze for the first time, as well as Birch Photographers. I love meeting new (to me) wedding professionals! We also had a great time with the St. John’s staff – they are very accommodating and easy to get along with!

Very nice! St. John’s is always beautiful. I love the cake!
