Rachael & Peter are Married! 07.02.2011

Ann Arbor, MI at home wedding coordinated by TwoFoot Creative

Rachael and Peter were married in the back yard of their house in Ann Arbor on July 2nd, 2011. The weather report that day was very scary: 100◦F with a weather alert for thunderstorms. However, the wedding was absolutely beautiful!

Rachael and Peter are both highly talented and have exceptional artistic abilities (Rachel is a photographer!). Rachael was so stunning in her wedding gown with a single strap consisting of white fabric roses. Her veil was also uniquely designed to be an artistic statement. Peter tastefully complimented Rachael in his fashionably grey suit.

Dogs carrying the rings at a wedding ceremony

To make the wedding even more personal to them, their dog, Gryphon, carried the ring down the aisle! He did such a wonderful job!

Wedding day rain in a tent

Rain decided to join the celebration right after the ceremony, but that didn’t disappoint the guests for even a moment.

The guests were impressed by the centerpieces on their tables, which consisted of wild flowers from Peter’s back yard and books from Peter’s book collection. As you can see, it was a “green” wedding.

Wedding guest book with thumb prints

The guest book was also uniquely designed. It was a board with a tree, both of their dogs, and their names. Guests made the leaves on the tree by printing their finger prints on the branches, then signing it on the inside!

Rachael and Peter were both very enjoyable to work with. I was very happy to help out on their big day.

Congratulations again to Rachael and Peter!
