I was lucky enough to have Ana and the TwoFoot team recommended to me, and it was truly a pleasure to work with them! Ana was willing to set up phone meetings with me since I was out of town, and worked with me every step of the way. When I met my florist in Michigan, she came to meet me since we had not been able to set up a face-to-face meeting.

As it got closer to the big day, the TwoFoot team kept me updated on payment deadlines and other important information. They made sure everything was on track for our wedding. When my fiance and I arrived in Ann Arbor, she came to our venue and met with us to make sure all details were finalized. She also worked to get us into our venue a bit early, so that my mom could set up our candy bar/dessert table. I joked around that I was high-maintenance because I showed up to our meeting with binders for everyone involved in setting up the venue, but Ana talked through everything with me and reassured me that everything would be taken care of! I truly did not have to worry about a thing!

She made sure that the rehearsal ran smoothly, and when I wanted to groomsmen to enter a bit differently than they normally did, she made sure that all of the groomsmen understood the new procession and that it was able to happen. She was there every step of the way on the big day as well…helping us the morning of, as soon as we got into the church, and throughout the ceremony. After the ceremony, she and her team helped to stop traffic so that we could do a beautiful photo of the bridal party in the streets of Ann Arbor. Not only did her and her team do a fabulous job throughout they day, they made sure the entire day was both flawless and perfect. All of the “behind the scenes” work was taken care of and she made sure that we did not have to worry about a thing.

I was truly blessed to be able to work with her on the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding day. Investing in TwoFootCreative was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding, and our day was 100% perfect because of her and her dedication to our special day! From the day we first met Ana from TwoFoot Creative we knew that we had chosen an incredible wedding planner.  We cannot imagine how we would have planned this beautiful, extraordinary and breathtaking wedding without her. Even during her own event of given birth to a beautiful baby girl in the middle of all our planning, she always had time, patience and answers for us.

With her recommendations of vendors (photographer, videographer, DJ, officiant, florist, cake, invitations, makeup and hair, etc.) she helped narrow down choices and truly helped eliminate all the overwhelming searches for Tara (the bride).  We trusted Ana with her references and they all were remarkable!

Sometimes people may think that if you acquire a wedding planner you lose the feeling of being part of planning and decision making of the wedding when actually it is quite the opposite, Ana assisted in making the planning and experience of this wedding so much more because she understood the bride and groom’s vision of their day and helped guide them in their choices, she would make suggestions if needed or just would listen and make sure that their decisions and dreams became a reality.

We are still in awe of all that she did the day of the wedding.  It is truly amazing that Ana and her team transformed the theater and the Henry Ford Museum into a stunning reception in the small amount of time they had.  The communication and the organization with the venue and all the vendors that day are simply incredible. She was always calm and professional and helped put us at ease.  Ana and her staff worked so hard yet made it seem so effortless and we truly appreciated it.

Our friends and families are still talking about how magical and unique the wedding day was.  Tara and I have said numerous times “What would we have done without Ana?” We unquestionably enjoyed the whole process with Ana.  She became more than a “Wedding Planner” to us; she became part of our family and a long-time friend!  Thank you Twofoot Creative for making Tara and Ryan’s dream wedding a reality.

Ana and her staff at TwoFoot Creative were amazing. I really appreciated them the most the day after the wedding when I had time to reflect on the day. It went flawless. All the vendors Ana recommended delivered well above and beyond what I expected. We were all ridiculously on time all day due to her attention to detail in the timeline. Best of all… the day of I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They handled it all from setting up the chairs at the theater, tying the sashes perfectly, making sure my handicapped grandma was taken care of, herding the crowd of guests for pictures, completely setting up the reception (including folding napkins), seating the guests and cleaning up at the end of the night.

The list could go on for pages of what they did. I’m sure there are things I missed because I don’t even know it happened – they just handled it. Because of TwoFoot Creative our special day was 100% stress free and perfect! I will recommend TwoFoot Creative at every opportunity.

Ana was amazing every step of the way, we literally could not have done it without her! She calmed our nerves, and gave sound advice about every decision (big & small) from what vendors to check out to the littlest details like where to order lunch with quickest delivery on our wedding day. Ana and Kristin did an amazing job with our wedding- we couldn’t possibly have done it without them. They went above and beyond in every possible way, through the planning and on the day of. Ana helped get us through a venue change 4 months before the wedding, which sounds horribly stressful, but it wasn’t because Ana took care of everything.

She also has connections with some amazing vendors that I would never have found without her. Her experience and her knowledge works in your favor- when the exact purple I wanted for our linens didn’t come in a chair sash, she actually got the company to make them for us and not charge us an insane amount. She found several other ways to save us money with other vendors as well.

When issues came up on the day of the wedding, I never found out until after they had already been resolved. Kristin had to seek out a vacuum and clean the venue herself when it turned out it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous night’s wedding. She found me flowers to toss when it turned out I didn’t have a tossing bouquet. We created a really specific timeline, but when I wanted to change it slightly on the day of the wedding she worked with the bandleader and took care of it without a problem.

Even if you’re someone like me, who thought I could do the whole wedding on my own, you definitely need them for the day of the wedding and I’m so glad I chose to hire them for the planning as well. I might have been able to pull of a wedding on my own, but it would never have been anywhere near as perfect, enjoyable and beautiful as it was with Two Foot Creative’s input.

Shortly after we got engaged, my fiancé and I discussed getting married in Ann Arbor and decided that we would need to hire a local wedding planner since we live out of state. We planned a last minute trip to AA for some venue hunting and I started calling planners, hoping we might be able to fit in a few meetings, the week prior to our visit. Only two planners were able to meet with us on such short notice.

Ana Skidmore, of TwoFoot Creative, was our first meeting that Saturday morning and we actually canceled our meeting with the second planner about ten minutes after leaving Ana. Ana was smart, friendly, and we were quite impressed by the fact that she fit in a meeting with us only a few hours before she had another wedding! In fact, she invited us to come back that evening and see her — and that evening’s event — in action. Little did she know that we had already decided to book her! And little did we know that Ana would prove to be invaluable, would make this experience incredibly easy and fun, and would be someone that we now consider a friend!

Since we lived far from Ann Arbor, we chose TwoFoot Creative’s Diamond package, for full service wedding planning. This might have been the single best wedding-related decision we made. Ana helped us with every single facet of this wedding. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we couldn’t have pulled off such a wonderful event without her. She really took the time to figure out who we were, what we liked (and definitely noted what we disliked and steered us clear of any vendors who wouldn’t have fit our tastes!), and how to make us happy. When it came time to book other vendors, Ana weeded through the hundreds of local vendors for us and recommended a select group of photographers, florists, bands, and videographers that she thought we might mesh well with. Thanks to her, we ended up with the BEST vendors ever.

One of the things that made this whole process so enjoyable was that I quickly learned that I could trust Ana’s judgment and rely on her opinions. Ana really understood what we were like and what we wanted out of this day. For the last year, Ana has been my eyes and ears in Ann Arbor. My now-husband and I flew in on a few different occasions for tastings, flower/décor meetings, and to handle assorted wedding-related tasks. But Ana took care of 95% of the work and kept us organized, on track, and entirely minimized the pre-wedding panic that I see a lot of brides experience.

I could continue to wax on about how wonderful Ana was throughout the year, but the proof lies in the fact that we had the best wedding we could have imagined and that it went off flawlessly. The entire weekend ran smoothly, there were no major or minor disasters; Ana and her team handled every detail so that I (and my family and bridal party) could relax, and my husband and I had SO much fun. It has been nearly a month since our wedding and our guests are still telling us how beautiful the event was and how much fun they had. May 12th really was our perfect day and there isn’t a thing that we would change about our wedding or our choice of vendors.

Yes, Ana is a wedding planner and she pulled off a totally spectacular event that we will never forget. But Ana is so much more than that. She is a friend, she is a therapist, and she is ready, willing, and able to deal with anything (think: family drama, bridal anxiety, emergency seamstress-ing when a dress bustle rips, bride-breakfast-feeder on the wedding day, etc, etc). Ana was always available by phone or email (in fact, there were countless days over the past year when Ana and I would email back and forth at least 15-20 times), she is incredibly responsive, and she is SO on top of everything. Ridiculously organized, a perfectionist, and a little blonde bulldog when necessary (on the wedding day, Ana will make absolutely SURE that nothing goes wrong and that everyone is doing what they should do and is where they ought to be at exactly the right time!), Ana was the ideal wedding planner and we are so thankful that we found her!

The only problem I encountered with TwoFoot Creative and Ana Skidmore is that I grew very attached to her and am suffering from post-wedding separation anxiety!

I would highly recommend Ana’s services to any local couples, and especially to any long distance couples, who want an amazing wedding without any of the planning-drama that normally accompanies such an event. Our wedding wouldn’t have been possible without her.

I don’t know what I would have done without Ana & her team at TwoFoot Creative! I purchased the Amber package so that I could get help with all the setup for the church and reception venue as well as to have someone keep track of the wedding day schedule so that I could enjoy the wedding without stressing out. Ana was very professional and very calm throughout the day which helped me relax and not worry about anything. Her associates set up the reception venue just as I envisioned it to be with minimal instructions – they really know what they’re doing! Ana and her team are absolutely fabulous. They are professional, efficient, and gracious. In supporting the planning of our wedding, twofootcreative was knowledgeable about vendors but did not push us in any direction. They were familiar with the constrictions and possibilities of our venue (an art museum) and worked well with the staff there and as an interface with the florist, videographer, photographer, caterer and baker. We even got a wonderful babysitter on their recommendation! Before the wedding, our communication was smooth and I could count on quick responses to any concern. On the day of the wedding, the planners were on top of every detail and addressed the minor glitches with equililbrium and panache. Very unobtrusive but right there when we needed them. I would recommend twofootcreative to anyone planning a wedding.

Ana is phenomenal and sets the bar high for what wedding coordinators should strive to be. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she ensured that all plans were developing smoothly, and the day of? All I had to do was sit back and enjoy myself. She took care of everything, from coordinating the vendors and our guests to keeping us on schedule all evening long. Ana made sure her assistant, Brenda, kept us fed during cocktail hour while we were taking photos, and my husband and I got to sit down and enjoy our entire dinner, which is unheard of. Even after our guests had left, Ana and her team packed up the room in record time, which continued to leave us nothing to do but relax and reflect on a truly amazing day. She even left slices of our wedding cake in our suite for us! You won’t regret booking Ana to coordinate your wedding day, and your sanity will thank you!

Hiring Ana was one of the best decisions we made! She was very friendly, organized, and fun. She had great recommendations for vendors, and every one of them was amazing! It was impossible to imagine how difficult a site that was to set up in the limited time frame, or the magic the site evoked until I saw all the vendors spring into action. Ana and her team, Kristen and Amber, were phenomenal. I really didn’t think I needed “help,” but my mom insisted that I find a great person to help us day-of and leading up to the wedding. OH BOY, AM I GLAD I DID. Ana helped get us organized and then, on the wedding day, spent hours helping us get set up and ready for the ceremony and reception. Everything was beautiful, all the vendors were lined up and on time. Ana helped us avert a linen crisis and all was good in my “princess for a day” kingdom. Ana and two of her assistant provided day of coordination for our wedding. They were amazing! Our wedding had some technical challenges since the church was in Southfield and the reception was outside our house in Dexter (about an hour apart). Ana sent Ashley to coordinate the church service while she and Kristen set up the linens, centerpieces, decorations, and oversaw the vendors.

No matter what happened, from my bustle coming completely undone to major thunderstorms, Ana handled everything quickly, quietly and professionally. I am pretty sure nothing ruffles her! She went well above the call of duty and at one point was even mopping rain off the dance floor like it was no big deal. Having her there made the wedding reception run smoothly and eliminated so many worries from off my shoulders.

Another thing I loved was the timeline that Ana helped me create. I used that for all my planning and it was an invaluable resource. It was definitely not something I could have done on my own.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ana! She saved our reception from being a rained out nightmare and we are so grateful! I would wholeheartedly recommend Ana and TwoFoot Creative!

Nate and I had an excellent experience with Ana and Two Foot Creative! Our wedding was all we had hoped for and exceeded all expections. Ana took the stress out of the wedding day and let us just enjoy the biggest day of our lives. Even though she was just over 8 months pregnant for our wedding, she had her husband Gene helping out, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see the two of them together as the husband and wife wedding planning team in the future, because they did an amazing job together! Other than Ana looking like she was ready to pop, you wouldn’t have known she was about to give birth. She was extremely professional, energetic, and passionate (she wore heels the whole night!), you can tell she loves what she does. Nate and I used Ana for the entire wedding planning process and it was definitely worth it. She broke down our budget at the beginning and we were within a couple hundred dollars at the end, even with adding some additional items to spice things up. Ana made our lives/wedding experience a lot easier and a lot more enjoyable. The reception site looked even better than we had ancticipated, and our guests raved about how much fun and beautiful the reception was. I would HIGHLY recommend Ana and Two Foot Creative as your wedding planner!!!

Looking back, I am so glad we hired Ana for Day-of Coordination. Her timeline is phenomenal and I especially appreciated her being there to run our rehearsal. Since my mom and I made almost all of the decorations and favors, we would have had to go set up everything on the day of the wedding, and it really relieved us of that stress so we could enjoy the morning getting ready. Other than that, Ana just made our evening run smooth from having emergency thread and needle to repair the loose brooch on my dress to making sure the guest book was passed around the tables so that it was full at the end of the night. I was the groom so I had no idea what I was in for. Ana knew more details than I ever could have imagined and even had plenty of points my wife hadn’t even considered. If anything, Ana was way over-prepared because we had such a simple ceremony and reception. My only wish was that we had thought to work with her earlier on so we had all of her “lists” from the jump off.

As for during the event, I can’t tell you how much I appreciated her and her staff’s professionalism and eagerness to help in ANY way hey could. Ladies, do your fiancee a favor and tell him I said to AT LEAST get TwoFoot as a day-of coordinator. A happy and completely care-free bride will make his day just as enjoyable as yours.

What can I say about Ana that hasn’t already been said? Extremely organized, communicative, knowledgeable and flexible, Ana genuinely has what it takes to be a wedding coordinator. She confirmed all my vendors, kept us organized at the rehearsal (my dad made it a point to ask me if Ana would be there the day of the wedding; when I said yes, he said that was great because she knew her stuff), made sure the room looked beautiful the day of, and made sure the events of the day flowed smoothly and easily. She has an eye for spotting difficult situations and defusing them as pleasantly but as firmly as possible. At the end of the night she coordinated those willing to help clean up and had all of our wedding stuff loaded into my parents’ SUV before I knew it. Ana and her assistant, Johanna Alexander, made the day go by so smoothly for us. I honestly wasn’t stressed about anything because I knew Ana was there. If you think having a day-of coordinator is a luxury, I’d reassess; I knew it was essential to have someone else there to deal with the minute details or the larger situations that would only stress out a bride. Ana will resolve them and you won’t notice a thing.

From our first meeting at Caribou (my favorite!) the stress lifted off my shoulders. Just knowing someone would be there the WHOLE day was priceless. Ana was very professional and comforting to our concerns and needs. She responded to emails promptly and always checked in to make sure everything was going ok. I only wish I had looked into a coordinator earlier in the process to benefit from more services! Ana even traveled in Rochester traffic during rush hour for our rehearsal, and two hours later, helped us all rehearse in the rain. In the weeks leading to the wedding, you were key in helping me to plan, and not be overly stressed. Trying to pull everything together from a different state would not have been possible without your help.
My wedding day was nearly perfect, and the few minor things that didn’t go quite like I’d planned, were fixed with a simple phone call to you. Especially on the day of the wedding. It was so wonderful to know that anything I needed, you took care of it. I didn’t have to worry at all whether the centerpieces I’d dreamed up would look like I wanted, or whether the crystal place card curtains would look right. Ana is a great wedding consultant. She is very reliable and flexible. She met with me several times before the wedding, to make sure everything was running smoothly. Ana and her assistant Shawn were a large part of why our wedding was a huge success. I had been wedding planning for over a year, so when the day finally came, I wanted to spend it enjoying the fruits of my labor. Also, 70% of our guests were from out of town and I wanted to spend as much time with all of them as possible. Ana and Shawn were able to anticipate things I might need well in advance, and despite how organized I thought I was, they thought of things I needed that I never even considered! Ana even helped my bridal party get out dress stains!

For those out there considering a coordinator, hire one! Even if you have individuals who will be there for the ceremony, reception and decor you still need someone to help you personally, and it should be someone apart from your guests, so that 1 – all of your guests have a good time, and 2 – you don’t feel obligated to “only ask so much” of an aunt, sister etc. Plus, a coordinator will always be by your side (vs. a reception coordinator who has to be in the kitchen, or a family member dancing).

She responded to my emails promptly (I live in New York and my wedding was in Michigan so that was crucial for me), and kept my wedding timeline updated. Ken and I spent so much time and effort planning every detail and it was very scary for us to just hand over the day and trust someone else to make sure it all went as planned. From the start you put our minds at ease and made us feel as though our day was as important to you as it was to us.

As someone who is slightly obsessively organized, I was impressed with how well prepared and organized you were for each of our meetings, bringing up scenarios that I hadn’t even considered. You were a great sounding board for our plans and I think the fact that you recently planned your own wedding gave you an edge in that regard.

I didn’t think I’d truly let the day unfold without stress but that is in fact what happened.
