Linda & Randy are Married! 07.18.2015

Linda & Randy were married on July 18th at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms in Dexter, MI. I was absolutely thrilled to be a part of their day, they are one of the sweetest couples, and their families were both fabulous as well!

I love the setup on the lawn for their ceremony – and the chairs are set up with so much care and precision so they’re as straight as possible. I was impressed! We met that morning to rehearse the ceremony and drop off items, and then my team met later to start setup.

I loved how Linda & Randy did their menu and signage – on mirrors! It made for a great visual with the barn in the background as guests walked into the tent for dinner. It started out as such a nice, sunny day…

We could tell in the forecast that rain was coming, so tent walls were put up pretty early. The wind was also a factor and threatened to knock over centerpieces, so I was glad to have the walls available!

After dinner, guests made their way into the tent with buckets of umbrellas that Zingerman’s brought out (it was raining pretty good by then!) and started off the dancing and dessert portion of the evening.

Congratulations Linda & Randy on a beautiful wedding day!

Amanda & Sean are married! 06.20.2015

Amanda & Sean were married at Earhart Manor at Concordia University in Ann Arbor last June 20th. It was a gorgeous day for a tented wedding, and it came together beautifully!

Amanda and her girls were so much fun to work with, and they just had a blast all day long. Imagine Three did a wonderful job with everyone’s hair and makeup, and they all looked so classy in short black dresses.

Bill Hamilton provided flowers for the wedding, and Adam Sparkes photographed the day. Jade from Mike Staff Productions did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor packed, they did not want to leave!

The cake topper was customized just for them – Sean owns a Crossfit gym in Chicago! Jefferson Market baked the cake, and they had Sweet Heather Anne bring in additional desserts inside the manor which we set up by the coffee station and photo booth.

I love looking into a tent from the outside – there’s always so much going on and such a fun atmosphere! The meal was Paleo inspired and guests devoured it. Throughout the night, guests danced, mingled on the patio, and enjoyed sitting inside with a cup of coffee. We had a great time working with everyone!

Congratulations Amanda & Sean, we wish you all the best!

Sarah & Ryan are Married! 06.13.2015

Sarah & Ryan were married at Wellers in Saline, MI last June. Their ceremony was beautiful – I especially loved the walkway that everyone journeyed down on their way to their seats!

Sarah created cootie catcher programs which were a huge hit among guests! There was just one left in the basket – and that never happens!

Following the ceremony, guests made their way into the Raisin River Room. They enjoyed cocktail hour while the bridal party finished up pictures outside.

Their favors were custom wine glasses with match books and jordan almonds placed inside – and they looked very cute on the tables! I am so glad Wellers includes chivari chairs now, they look fabulous in the space!

The dinner buffet began shortly after the grand entrance, and the night continued with a fabulous dance party.

Sarah & Ryan’s wedding professionals included Maureen’s Designs (flowers), Sublime Moments (photography), Cakes by Stephanie, Encore DJ services and The Wedding Connection (officiant).

Congratulations you two – we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Rosie and KC are Married! 08.08.2015

Ferry Street Inn in Detroit, MI wedding ceremony coordinated by TwoFoot Creative

Rosie and KC were married August 8th at the Ferry Street Inn in Detroit! Despite early showers and passing rain throughout the night, their wedding turned out so wonderfully and everyone had a blast.

Ferry Street Inn tented wedding planned by TwoFoot Creative

The ceremony space was outside the carriage house and strings of lights crisscrossed overhead. Outside the reception tent, we placed colorful wood prints of Rosie and KC’s engagement photos that guests were able to sign.

Inside the tent, Chair Covers & Linens and Bill Hamilton Designs helped create the colorful look that Rosie and KC were looking for. Mélange cooked up a fabulous dinner and served in family-style. While the delicious and beautiful cake created by Cakes by Rubina was handed out, Mélange also served freshly french-pressed coffee.

Wayne from Rock Out Entertainment got the party started and had amazing light set-up. Once it got dark we helped him pass out light-up foam batons.

After the reception Rosie and KC held an after party in one of the Inn’s houses to wrap up the wonderful evening!

Emily & John are Married! 05.16.2015

On the sixteenth of May 2015 Emily and John were married at the beautiful University of Michigan Museum of Art. They performed the ceremony in the Apse of the museum.

Rabbi Adam Rosenwasser performed the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and went flawlessly.  Their photographer, Amanda Williams, captured fabulous pictures that you will see later on this month!

They held the reception at the Michigan Union. They covered the Rogel ballroom in white and gold linens from Chair covers and Linens. Natural wood chivari chairs completed the look.

MADE floral covered the tables with the most beautiful centerpieces. In the middle of the ballroom sat the marvelous three-tier cake provided by Gwen’s Bakery.

After the grand feast in the ballroom guests were able to dance the night away to the sounds of Bluewater Kings Band. Congratulation Emily and John, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Lacey & Cameron are Married! 04.11.2015

Lacey & Cameron were married on April 11th last year at the First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, with a reception following at the Ann Arbor City Club.

They had a family friend who owns a Rickshaw company, and his wedding gift was a ride around town on their big day! So much fun, I am so glad weather cooperated for them!

We started setup fairly early at the City Club, where Bill Hamilton worked his floral magic and Chair Covers & Linens provided beautiful tablecloths and chairs to complete the look. Jim from Quest Productions finished it off with the drapery you see from the ceiling, which the couple had found online and fell in love with.

M&J Photography captured the day with her camera, and Mike Staff Productions made sure guests had a great time on the dance floor. The catering at the City Club was also a hit – especially the mac & cheese bar loaded with available toppings!

It was a beautiful wedding, and Lacey & Cameron were a lot of fun to go through the planning process with. I just love how everything came together for them on the day of the wedding as well!

The Cheesecake Shoppe provided these delicious cupcakes and cutting cake seen below – perfect for any cheesecake lover but a HUGE hit among guests as a whole. Everyone loves a little something different at a wedding!

Lacey’s bouquet was sent to CurlyArt after the wedding to be turned into a bouquet painting, which turned out absolutely beautifully!

Dottie & Aaron are Married! 03.21.2015

Well – we are playing catch-up! It has been far too long since blogging weddings, and most of 2015 has yet to be done… This was our second wedding last year, and one of our last at Cottonwood Barn. Dottie & Aaron were the sweetest couple!

They did so many adorable DIY projects, including the amazing ceremony arch that they were married under! Dottie and her family and bridesmaids also did the flowers themselves. Unfortunately some were touching the sides of the cooler overnight and had to be replaced day-of, so my team went hydrangea shopping and we made it all work!

Family members’ wedding photos were displayed on the buffet next to their seating chart, and my team helped seat guests as well to speed things along.

The room looked beautiful – I am so glad they decided to go with chivari chairs, it really finished off the look that Dottie was going for!

Their vendor team included Katherine’s Catering, Chair Covers & Linens, Amanda Dumouchelle Photography, David Liu (videographer), Kyle Pullin (DJ) and Ann Arbor Limousine.

Everyone loved the setting of the barn – it really is a perfect wedding venue! Hopefully we can see many more weddings at Cottonwood again in 2017…

Congratulations Dottie & Aaron on a beautiful wedding day!

Kelly and Tim are Married! 08.22.15

Kelly and Tim were married at White Oaks Farm on August 22nd. They had the most perfect day!

Seradella dropped off the most gorgeous little extras for their wedding day, that honestly set the stage for the whole day. For their ceremony we had a beautiful white dresser and a chandelier hung by the Lighting Guy who also hung lights in and outside the barn.

Flowers for the day were by Bella Fiori Design. Angela 100% got the brides vision: the flowers were amazing and I really hope to work with her again. For the ceremony she lined the aisle chairs with flowers and the bouquets were to die for!! It was a look of handpicked wild flowers.

Cocktail hour was on the front lawn and it even came with lawn games. The groom made each of his groomsmen cornhole games and guests had fun playing with them and eating food provided by Angel Food Catering who is one of my favorite caterers to work with.

The guest book table was a mix of the bride’s collection and Seredella’s with a type writer and just a cute collection of vintage items to complete the look. We even had the famous blue bike from Seradella!

Dayna Mae Photography was the photographer and her pictures from the day are amazing!

We also had Fairytale Productions as the videographers.

Her cousin was the DJ and he did a great job. This was a wedding where we all pulled together to make it happen. The bride’s mom really did so much for this wedding and I worked with her a lot during the planning process. She was in tears throughout the night because it was everything she wanted for her daughter!

I wish Kelly and Tim the best, they are a super sweet couple and I know they will look back on this day and cherish every moment.

Mary Beth & Dylan are Married! 06.06.2015

TwoFoot Creative wedding at St. Thomas

Mary Beth and Dylan were married on June 6th this year at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Ann Arbor, MI. Their beautiful ceremony was followed by a reception at Earhart Manor, on the campus of Concordia University also in Ann Arbor.

Wedding at Earhart Manor by TwoFoot Creative

At Earhart Manor, we set up menus, table numbers, cake items, escort cards, favors, bathroom baskets, bags for kids etc. and assisted guests as they arrived. The bar was open on the patio as well as inside the tent, and appetizers were being passed.

Chair Covers & Linens, Passion Flower and Quest Productions provided all the beautiful decor for the wedding – and it came together magnificently! I love the liner and tent at Earhart Manor, it is so sad that only alumns can get married there now!

Imagine Three did everyone’s hair and makeup to start off the day, and Melanie Reyes was there early getting some shots of everyone getting ready! I will post some of her pictures soon. Mike Staff Productions provided videography, and Mary Ann Productions DJ’ed the night away!

Sweet Heather Anne made a stunning wedding cake for Mary Beth & Dylan. I love the larger bottom tier to create more interest as well!

At the end of the night, we sent the two of them off with sparklers, facilitated by my team to make sure they were all lit around the same time! Congratulations you two, it was a pleasure!

Lisa & Danny are Married! 03.14.2015

TwoFoot Creative wedding at Cottonwood Barn

Lisa & Danny were married on March 14th at Cottonwood Barn in Dexter, MI. Rondo String Quartet started off the music for the day. Guests were in the main area under the amazing chandelier for the ceremony, then moved into the straw barn for cocktail hour so my team as well as Moveable Feast could flip the space for dinner and dancing!

Flowers were provided by Norton’s and set up by my team that day. One of my favorite photographers, JLB Wedding Photography, took their photos and the wonderful Shane Tincu Films was their videographer. It was a power team!

DJ services were provided by JD Entertainment, and guests who didn’t want to dance could also visit the Lightbox photo booth. Since they got married on Pi Day, Lisa & Danny provided pie for dessert, which was a huge hit!

Congratulations to you both on such a beautiful day, it was a pleasure working with you!
