Tiffany & Zac were married on August 23rd, 2014 at Sunset Cove in Pinckney, MI. Tiffany was lucky enough to get ready right next door at her parents’ house, and walk from there to her ceremony! The two of them lived abroad during most of the planning, so we had to be highly efficient when they were in town!
The ceremony took place outside in the amazingly kept gardens at Sunset Cove. This place is truly stunning! I can’t believe it was our first wedding there. Looking forward to many more! Christopher Belli took the professional photos, so look for them soon! Video Magic was there shooting the video.
The flowers were done by a friend who was a guest at the wedding, but also is a florist back home in Australia (where Zac is from). I brought in linens from Chair Covers & Linens, and Angel Food Catering took care of the delicious food and remaining rental items.
We did a little table adjusting when we first arrived, and then got to work on setting the dining area under a clear-span tent. Mike Staff arrived early to set up both the ceremony and reception sound and work out cues with me for sending the bridal party down the aisle.
I absolutely love the linens Tiffany selected – blue mist colchester. It looks blue, silver or purple depending on lighting and what you put next to it – the versatility is lovely!
Imagine Three took care of hair and makeup for the bridal party – they all looked stunning! Tiffany’s mom made the favors, and they also had us put out a bunch of pictures of the families and the two of them as well. Lots of great personal touches!
Cakes by Rubina did the cake, and it tasted wonderful! I was a bit nervous putting that topper on though…
Their first dance was one of the prettiest ever with such a stunning backdrop, and took place after dinner and the most heartfelt toasts you can think of. Tiffany and Zac have amazing friends and family, and it is very clear how much they are loved!
After the first dance, guests joined in for an outside dance session until they had to move the party inside at 10pm due to noise regulations. At that time, they also showed a slideshow of the couple.
