Katie and Morgan who own Visceral Enrapture met in high school, they were a part of their high school band, and now they create and design beautiful jewelry.
Take a moment to check out their website and read a little bit about them and their company.
Tell us about your company and what make you unique? We think of Visceral Enrapture as our love child. Katie’s love of whimsical, one-of-a-kind pieces and Morgan’s classic elegance is the combined style sensibility represented by our jewelry. We’ve been friends for over a decade and we share a desire to be masters of our own universe. Katie’s experience living abroad in Seoul propelled the decision to fulfill that desire by opening our own online jewelry boutique.
Our bridal line has a very unique point of view. We draw inspiration from American vintage pieces, especially the 50’s and 60’s period and the elegant eclecticism of modern-day Seoul. Katie hand crafts one of a kind pieces from materials she gathered in Detroit and Seoul’s jewelry markets. Visceral Enrapture’s bridal jewelry reflects classic glamour with a bold twist for the modern bride looking to exhibit her own unique taste.
What is something about you that no one would know? Morgan hates the color purple. Katie cannot stand real bananas but loves banana jewelry charms.
What are your prices? Our bridal collection is available for under $100. Our signature bauble bracelets and necklaces are available for $68 each. Other pieces range from $38 – $98
Can you create custom designs? Yes, we love to work one-on-one with brides to create custom jewelry to perfectly reflect their point of view. We recently created custom crystal bauble bracelets and cluster earrings to pair with a one-shoulder navy blue Bill Levkoff bridesmaid gown.
The dress is always the starting point when creating a custom design. Once we’ve seen the dress and listened to the bride’s input, we propose multiple design options to best complete the look she wants. The bride makes the final selection and we get to help her make her special day even more beautiful which we love. Our bridal consultations can take place in whatever form is most convenient for the bride: in-person or via phone or email.
How long have you been in business? Since November of 2012.
