Meet PrimOvations Catering!

How did PrimOvations get started? After 29 years of combined service at the University of Michigan, owners Pat Wright and Shelly Bell decided to forge their combined Culinary and Event expertise to create PrimOvations Catering in 2008.

What is your specialty? The ability to make even the “Simple” seem “Extraordinary”

What is new for 2012 for PrimOvations? New Web site, New Complete Menu Packages, New Partnership as the exclusive Caterer for the Links at Whitmore Lake and an ever growing list of new props and equipment to give every event that special touch.

Do you work off set menus? For the first time we have assembled a full menu package for our clients to select from. We do, however, prefer to work directly with the client to design customize menus based on their own personal food vision, as well as budget.

I’m on a budget – can you help? ABSOLUTELY

Will you also handle alcohol? YES!!! We are insured and have excellent, professionally trained bartending staff.

What food trend do you wish would go away? Old trends never have to actually go away, as long as, we don’t get hung up on them and continue to create new and exciting trends.

Tell me more about your florals and linens? Presentation is paramount to our success. We feel that being able to accent a room with beautiful linens and flowers is an excellent compliment to our fabulous food and fine service. We have an extensive inventory of accent linens and we personally go to a wholesale florist to hand select our flowers, which we assemble ourselves.

What is something that people are surprised to learn about you? The amount of services that we provide and the fine attention to detail that goes into every event.
