When you have two people who click so well, you can’t help but fall in love with them. Lindsey and Joe were just that. From the first time we met I just knew that we had to help them have the best wedding ever.
On August 18th, the day was perfect for a wedding outside at Ingalls Mall. Our team arrived to begin setting up chairs, hooking up a PA system and arranging ceremony flowers which were created by Bill Hamilton Designs. We lined up everyone for the processional, which was actually quite large. Lindsey and Joe wanted to include their whole family in the wedding, so we had eight grandparents, Lindsey’s brother and wife, and then the 10 people in the bridal party.
The pastor for the ceremony was Ed Frutig and he was amazing. We had a little snafu with a ring that was missing and he was able to stall the ceremony so that it wasn’t an odd waiting period while the matron of honor retrieved the missing ring. I will never forget when we told Joe that we had to wait a little longer he looked at us and said as long as Lindsey is here that is all the matters..AWW!!!
Elle Ticula was the amazing and very talented photographer for the day. She is so sweet and and I can’t wait to see some of her beautiful shots from the day. After the ceremony we had to take down the chairs and head over to the reception hall at the Union. The room was ready to go thanks to the rest of our team and Lindsey and Joe came in for their first look at the room.
Bill Hamilton did an amazing job on the decor in the room and it was exactly what the bride and groom had dreamed of. Jefferson Market supplied the cake and Bill added some flowers to the simple cake and it was gorgeous. Jim from Quest Productions added up lighting to the room and it really added that extra touch to the room. All the linen was supplied by Chair Covers and Linen, and it made a huge statement in the room.
Lindsey and Joe had a surprise for everyone, for their first dance they did the Charleston that they had been practicing and they did an awesome job. Killer Flamingos kept everyone on the dance floor all night as usual and at the end no one wanted the reception to end.
We are so happy for Lindsey and Joe; the wedding was beautiful and full of sentimental touches through out the night. We wish them all the love in the world! Congratulation’s Lindsey and Joe!!
