Ksenia & Matt are Married! 05.06.2012

Ksenia & Matt got in touch with me early this year to plan their May 6th wedding – and it all had to come together very quickly! It was a pleasure working with them both, and so wonderful to see it all come together on the wedding day.

Guests arrived and were given piece 4 of 4 that was missing from their invitation – a boarding pass! It admitted them to the ceremony and also told them which table they would be sitting at for dinner. Ksenia walked in from the back of Pine Knob to the bridge on the outside patio, the first time they’ve had a ceremony take place on the bridge!

After the ceremony, the bridal party took pictures on the grounds while guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers outside. Their DJ from Mike Staff continued the music, and the gazebo bar was open as well. We helped get everyone seated at 7pm for dinner, which began with a grand entrance into the Russian bread and salt ceremony. Matt’s mom brought a loaf of bread (hand made by one of their friends) with a hole cut into it for salt, and they shared in their first first together as husband and wife. It was so sweet!

Another tradition they carried over from Russia (where Ksenia is from) is to continue speeches through dinner. Guests were invited to toast the couple during dinner service – and they did!

Other wedding professionals Ksenia & Matt used were Golden Limousine, Parsonage (gorgeous flowers!), and Platinum Mix. I will post some of the professional pictures soon – but in the mean time, congratulations Ksenia & Matt! We had a great time working with you!
