TwoFoot Creative was up to some shenanigans while we helped Jillian and Kevin celebrate their wedding day on St. Patrick’s Day. Their beautifully green wedding took place at the Inn at St. Johns in Plymouth, MI – one of our very favorite venues!
We arrived at St. Johns, and began by laying down the linens from Fabulous Events, setting up the candelabras, from Top that Event, and put out their adorable lantern place cards. The candelabras had beautiful floral centerpieces created by The Vines. Each table had a different street name in place of table numbers. Every table had a description of why the table had the name, which basically told the story of how they met, dated, and then the proposal, as well as all the places they lived in between.
Guest started arriving and enjoyed cocktails and appetizers, and soon it was time for the reception to start. Everyone applauded and cheered as the bride and groom arrived into the cocktail room. We got drink orders for the wedding party and lined up the bridal party to make their grand entrance. Each couple of the wedding party had their own entrance song and they each planned a unique dance as they entered the room.
The couple’s cake was a topsy turvey cake from Cake Noveau and as expected it was a work of art. Quest Productions set up the lighting for the room and later that night as the lights were turned down it transformed into a beautiful green dance party room. Guests danced the night away with the band Collison 6; there was never a moment where the dance floor wasn’t packed.
Jillian and Kevin brought in Dan Lippitt Photography as well as Zara Creative to capture the wedding day. From the sneak peaks on Facebook – I know they caught some amazing moments!
I hope you enjoyed this St. Patrick day wedding, we are so happy that we got to start the wedding season year off with this green wedding. It was fun and we all had a great time helping Jillian and Kevin start their marriage off with a spectacular wedding day!!
