Memorial weekend was a big weekend for us, and it was wonderful to end the weekend with this beautiful wedding at Cobblestone Farms in Ann Arbor. We have done a lot of weddings at Cobblestone but we have never had a set up like this one and I have to admit I absolutely loved it!
Chelsea and Matt chose to use the outside space as much as they could. They started with the ceremony being by the Farmhouse and then guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside with an area that had lawn games, Michigan wines, and appetizers. Dinner was outside in a beautiful tent on the other side of the Farmhouse. It was the perfect day for all of this and even though the sun was out and very hot all the shade from the tents kept guests nice and cool.
Dancing was held in the barn along with a
popcorn table with all sorts of flavors for guests to choose from.
Emily Tishouse was the photographer, and these are only a few of the professional shots from the day. Mike Staff Productions was the videographer and he was busy running around to capture all the great moments.
The Flower Market was the florist, and Kurt who owns the company also set up all the music. The flowers were amazing, I could not stop looking around at all the little touches they brought to the wedding.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was the band they had playing for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They are called Lindsey Lou and the Flatbellies, and they were amazing!
Katherine’s Catering did an amazing job with all the food! When the cupcakes from Sweet Heather Anne arrived, they looked ALMOST too good to eat. They also provided a small elegant white cake for Chelsea and Matt to cut into.
After dinner guests headed to the barn for dancing and popcorn. This wedding was country chic, it had all the little details, but yet a laid back and enjoy yourself vibe.
Cobblestone is a great venue if your looking for an outside and inside venue, and Chelsea and Matt made me fall in love with it even more!
