Every year since I started my business, I have ventured to various states across the country in November for the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) annual conference. It is so inspiring to be around so many wonderful planners from across the US and world, and I always walk away with new ideas to implement for the following year.
This year, Donnie Brown was one of the keynote speakers, and he was just fantastic! He does big Texas weddings, so it was fun to see his process and all of the add-ons he offers his couples. He recently launched his own fragrance as well, and is using fragrances in weddings to enhance the ambiance. I don’t know how I feel about that, too much fragrance in a room can definitely be a turn off!
Rebecca Grinnals was the second keynote speaker. She developed the Disney weddings program, and currently runs the luxury wedding conference Engage! among many other business ventures. Rebecca spoke on trends for 2013, what the luxury wedding market looks like, and what we will see more of in the future!
