Shannon & Mark were married at Grace Bible Church in Ann Arbor on 11.11.11 – such a fun anniversary! Their ceremony was beautiful, captured on film and camera by Anderson Studios. I worked closely with Shannon’s mom Lynda throughout the planning, she was also maid of honor and did such a terrific job with everything!
The ceremony was presided over by Father Don, and a musician from the church performed as well as Shannon’s sister in law for a solo.
Following the ceremony, guests headed to the Michigan League for cocktails in the ballroom – which was decked out to look like an enchanted forest by Bill Hamilton Designs, Pegasus Lighting, and Chair Covers & Linens. Bill had an extra challenge thrown at him because Shannon is allergic to flowers, so everything was done in silks!
Sweet Heather Anne provided the excellent cake and cupcakes – the cake was served to the head table while the cupcakes were served to guests with coffee for dessert.
All the tables were named after characteristics that create a good marriage – something that is much easier on guests at smaller weddings!
Funktion performed for the wedding, and they were fantastic! I have never worked with them before, but will definitely be recommending them to other couples, they made sure everyone had a blast!
Congratulations on a beautiful wedding day Shannon & Mark, it was so much fun to work with you both!
