Nicole & Antonio were so much fun to work with over the past year! They hired TwoFoot Creative throughout the wedding planning process to help them stay on budget, to make sure nothing fell through the cracks, and to avoid having to think through every single detail. Nicole trusted that I knew her enough to make some decisions for her, which allowed her to enjoy rather than stress out about the planning! The ceremony took place at the First United Methodist Church in Ann Arbor, officiated by Rev. Hice from Royal Oak.
Their reception took place at one of my very favorite venues, the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) in Ann Arbor, MI. Everything looked absolutely gorgeous – I can’t wait to see the pictures from their photographer Adam Czap!
The stunning floral was brought in by Flowers by Heidi, who has the most amazing roses I have ever seen! Linens came from Fabulous Events, and all other rentals were through the wonderful caterer, Moveable Feast.
The trees you see lit along the sides by the columns, as well as the uplighting was brought in by MPE Events. We folded all the napkins for Nicole, picked up her favors (from Sweet Gems) the day before and set them out at each place setting for guests to enjoy.
The band, Killer Flamingos, was amazing. I am so excited to be working with them twice more this year! Due to the art, the stage had to be set in a very specific way for both the band to be heard and to avoid any risk to the art. There is a lot to think about in that space!
One difficulty with UMMA (and why they have a set list of caterers to choose from) is that you cannot cook anything inside the Museum. Dan is the owner of Moveable Feast, and here he is outside cooking up delicious sauces and soups! Some of the appetizers were soup shots, which were a huge hit on a cold winter day! The cake came from Jefferson Market & Cakery in Ann Arbor, MI and was adorned with bunches of hydrangea from Flowers by Heidi.
Congratulations on a beautiful wedding Nicole & Antonio!
