Maureen & Brian were married at Shrine Chapel at Orchard Lake on August 20th. It is a beautiful Catholic church, and the ceremony was very personal to the couple which is always the best kind! I arrived at the church to set up a few things, and created flowers for Mary out of some of the altar arrangements since those were missing. Everything else went off without a hitch!
Following the ceremony, guests headed to Lyon Oaks in Wixom, MI for the cocktail hour. It was set up outside under a tent – but about half way through, the rain started coming down in buckets! We rushed everyone inside as quickly as possible and continued the appetizers and bar in the main ballroom.
Maureen and Brian sat at a sweetheart table that was later removed to make more room for dancing, which they needed with the amazing performance from Collision 6!
The cake was brought in from Elite Sweets, and guests seemed to love it! Pizza also came out toward the end of the night, which of course was a huge hit as well.
I just loved the way the room looked all set up – very classic white with pops of vibrant orange and blue, beautiful!
