Lauren and William’s entire wedding weekend was simply divine. They stayed at the adorable Harbor House Inn, hosted a private rehearsal dinner at Jellys overlooking the harbor bay, took their friends and family sailing, and had an intimated BBQ to celebrate before the big day.

Their ceremony took place at the St. John’s Episcopal Church. Her dress was passed down from her grandmother to her mother and then to her…gorgeous! While getting ready, the bride needed super glue from our emergency kit to stick a penny under her heel for good luck. Craig Watson Photography did a fabulous job of capturing all the details.

The guest book was full of post cards for guest to sign.

Tiny little flags were passed out after the ceremony with written instructions directing guest to the park for pictures. The bride & groom would lead the way walking and everyone would follow like a parade.

After group photos, guest went to enjoy cocktail hour while the bridal party rode the trolley (around town for more pictures.

The reception was held at Harbourfront Grand Hall who catered and provided the linens. The room was beautifully lit with tons of candles and lights strung around the ceiling.

Each window had a photo of family and friends for guest to take home. The card cage was accompanied by a photo of Lauren, her mother, and grandmother all wearing the same wedding gown.

Grand Haven Garden House provided all the florals and plants. The cake was provided by Zingermans. I love the music box cake topper that was passed down her parents.

Dance Tracks DJ really keep the crowd on their feet. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wedding party’s family stay on the dance floor all night quite like this group…so fun!

One of the most memorable moments, in which our entire team teared up, was during the anniversary dance when the last couple standing married for over 50 years and boy were they cute.

At the end of the night, we packed everything into their cars along with their cards and gifts. This couple and their family was such a pleasure to work with. Congratulations Lauren & William!
