Abigail & Michael were married on Friday the 23rd of September at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor! It was a beautiful ceremony, and so much fun working with them and their families on their wedding day!
We arrived at 2pm to start setting up, and helped with the proper placement of ceremony chairs, arranging the shepherd’s hooks and pomanders, placing items on the table to be used during the ceremony (rope and two roses) and placing bubbles on the chairs.
Inside the barn, we placed burlap runners, favors, table numbers and votives on the tables, hung lanterns, assembled the guest book table (puzzle pieces of the couple!), hung their initials with command hooks on the walls, placed bar signs, and made sure the cupcake table was ready to go.
We also re-used the pomanders from outside at the head table to jazz it up a bit, and as soon as the bridal party entered the room, their bouquets joined the head table decor. Abigail & Michael were very into their pictures, so cocktail hour was actually a 2-hour event.
When guests were invited into the room after a tented cocktail hour, they found their seats via the above seating chart and were encouraged to sign a piece of the puzzle. The bar was opened up inside and remained so for the rest for the night (beer and wine only at Cobblestone!).
Abigail did get to see the room before her guests – and she loved it! I always like to try to have couples see things first, after putting that much work into it all!
Congratulations to you both, we wish you all the best!
