As an ABC member I was very excited to learn that our last meeting was going to be at the Sandhill Crane Winery. Not only were we all excited to try some of their tasty wines but they have just recently opened a banquet room and we couldn’t wait to see it.
We all met up at Webers where Golden International Limousine picked us up and took us to Sandhill Crane Winery.
They treated us like royalty at the vineyard and spoiled us rotten with preparing for us different courses and paring them with some delicious wines.
Next we got to go into their wine cellar and see how they made their wine.
One of my favorite things about the winery was the back porch it looked out over their vineyard and the beautiful Michigan farmland. It made us want to get in a rocking chair and enjoy Sandhill’s great wine with the spectacular view.
Sweet Gems Confections had yummy little treats waiting for us after dinner and everyone was raving about them.
We got to hear some great music during the night from the DJ Lufru.
Jonathan Durling was our very talented photographer for the night, and he was busy capturing all of the excitement of the night.
As the night ended some of us bought some wine and we headed back to Ann Arbor. The meeting was great, we were all enchanted by the winery. We all met some great people, and even had some new ABC members added that night!!
I just wanted to say a big thanks for everyone who came out and for all the wedding professionals that made all of this happen. And a special thanks to the Sandhill Crane Winery for hosting us for the evening.
