Back in December we assisted in the grand opening of Detroit Vineyards as an official event space. After months of consulting with the owners on how to structure events and rentals in the space, and holding a styled shoot (which we will showcase shortly), it was time for a party! Event professionals in the area were invited to participate in the celebration, and we had some amazing sponsors as well!

The entertainment and lighting was provided by The Elysium Experience. They even got us out on the dance floor! Shutterbooth brought a vintage photo booth with a blue sequin backdrop. Melanie Reyes took these (and many more) pictures. Blumz brought in floral to match the space, and Chair Covers & Linens provided some fabulous new tablecloths. The event was catered by Moveable Feast, which is always delicious!

Detroit Wedding & Event Venues

Detroit is a Mecca for unique events, and Detroit Vineyards does not disappoint. The building was formerly Stroh’s (ice cream), and they showcase the old equipment very well. There is a private tasting room for smaller events that seats 40 guests comfortably. This room is great for showers or bachelorette parties. Even corporate meetings work well here! When we plan weddings and events in Detroit, it’s always fun to explore the city as well. Comerica Park and Ford Field are both very close by for games and concerts. You should try the wine next time you visit Detroit for a game! They have both red and white varieties, sweet and dry. If you’d like to plan an event, reach out to us so we can start!
