Lisa & Blair are Married! 08.04.2012

Lisa & Blair were married at Island Park in Ann Arbor, MI on August 4th. One of the most difficult things to do for their wedding was track down helium in the midst of a national shortage! We ended up getting it from Toys R Us in multiple small canisters to pull off the look that Lisa wanted – and it looked beautiful!

We gathered up the helium balloons after the ceremony and handed them to Lisa & Blair for pictures. Holding about 30 balloons sure makes you feel lighter! Their photographer, James Fry, had a great time with them as did their videographer James Simmermacher. Can’t wait to see everything they did!

After the ceremony we stacked the chairs and cleaned up the park, and then we headed to the Big House to make sure everything there was set and ready to go. One of the TwoFoot Creative team had stayed there to get things in order.

The room looked just stunning! Chair Covers & Linens provided the linens and chargers, and the other rentals were included at the Stadium. Bill Hamilton Designs provided all the flowers, and also was a huge help to my team as he climbed a tree to help hang pomanders for the ceremony!

Gourmet Invitations did all of the paper products, which were truly Michigan themed and amazing. Mary Ann Productions did a wonderful job behind the DJ booth as well, and the food from Sodexo was fantastic – guests were going back up for seconds and thirds to the various food stations!

Jefferson Market created the yellow ombre cake pictured above. It was set out with other desserts later on at night. Guests who didn’t dance or needed a break got an amazing view of Michigan Stadium – the lights were turned on once it got dark.

Congratulations Lisa & Blair – I had a fantastic time working with you both!
