Have you ever met a couple that you knew instantly they were meant for each other? This is how we felt about Camryn and Doug.
They started the day with a first look at the Nicholas Arboretum, and the phenomenal team of Lamb & Lark were there to capture this special moment. I was so excited to find out that we would be working with them that day!
Soon it was time to walk down the aisle, at New Life church in Ann Arbor. After the ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail hour at the church while the bridal party headed out to take some more pictures.
At Concordia we were setting up everything for the reception at the Earhart Manor.
Lanterns were hung, chevron table runners were laid down, lemon drop favors were placed at each guest’s seat, and the postcard escort cards were hung in large frames. Pot and Box was their to add the floral and welcome banners to the venue.
DJ Andy from Snapfuze was ready to get the party started as the bridal party entered for their grand entrance, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as Camryn’s dad gave a great welcome speech and blessing.
Something that Camryn and Doug did that was unique was that at each table was a card they made that told about their love story and cute little things about the both of them.
They also informed their guests that if they wanted them to kiss they must either, bribe them, sing a song, or do a haiku. This made for a very interesting night!
I can’t talk about this wedding without mentioning the amazing sweet table that Sweet Heather Anne put together. It had macarons, cookies, truffles, mini cupcakes, and a wedding cake. Guests waited in line just to get some of these delicious treats and it was well worth the wait.
Everyone had a great time in the Shutterbooth as well and spent the night mingling and dancing until the very end.
There was a lot of love at Concordia that night and I know that Camryn and Doug will spend a life together full of love and happiness. We wish you the best!
