Kathleen & Eric are Married! 06.13.2010

Cherry Creek wedding ceremony

Kathleen has been so much fun to work with this past year! We started with a search for the perfect venue, which she found at Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Twp. Due to a small guest list and a more mature crowd, it made sense to go with a Sunday afternoon wedding. Guests arrived for cocktails and appetizers an hour prior to the ceremony, during which time both the bride and groom were mingling with guests – it definitely took the edge off!

Kathleen used Clever Bumblebee Creations for her flowers, and all the paper products you see on the tables and in my previous post with their invitations were done by the amazing Tifany from Gourmet Invitations. I brought in the linens from Chair Covers and Linens, and they looked great with Cherry Creek’s blue chairs!

My assistants Ashley and Kristen are pictured above, hiding during the ceremony. Everything ran on time or ahead of schedule, so we had to make sure to keep on to of it all! Photographing the day was West Park Photography, and Castle Video Production’s Kristyn Smyth provided video coverage. I can’t wait to see the final product!

Blue and Green centerpiece

Kathleen’s duck hunting theme was visible throughout the reception – napkins, table numbers, photo booth strips, the groom’s bout – it was so personalized to her and Eric which I just love! Rock the Booth did a great job getting guests into the photo booth, and Rock Out Entertainment got them onto the dance floor. At the end of the day, Kathleen’s cousin rounded things out with an Elvis impersonation!

Cakes by Stephanie

Cakes by Stephanie did an amazing job mimicking the wedding cake that Kathleen’s grandmother had at her wedding. The pictures were there for guests to make the connection. Their cakes are one of my very favorites – always so moist and delicious!

Clever Bumblebee wedding bouquet

Kathleen has sent her bouquet in to CurlyArt to have it preserved on canvas as a painting. With all of these gorgeous blooms, it is going to be fabulous!

Congratulations Kathleen and Eric – it was a beautiful day and we are so happy to have been a part of it!
